It did happen, Wasim went on national TV and drew a comparison between Marshall and Lillee, and basically said Lillee didn't take wickets in Asia and relied on pacey tracks, which I find funny as Wasim walks around here with a James Anderson tier away record.

You could criticize him for his record all you want (no matter in how outlandishly unjust manner), but you can't deny that's a Really solid point which we all agree upon and hence rate Marshall over Lillee

I rate Macko above Lillee because his record is just better, and he was just more skilled, not because Asia or whatever.

His record being just better has like, extremely significantly to do with his one India and two Pakistan tours. Both have similar records in England, Lillee stampede NZ, both around the same at home and Marshall's Australia record while Great, wasn't more so than other ATGs. Lillee also was top tier for longer and has a higher WPM. Marshall demolishing Great batting units in roads is what really separates him from Lillee and is the main reason I rate him over McGrath and Hadlee.

Macko is better in England, Macko is better in Australia than Lillee in windies WSC included, Macko is better at home than Lillee at home etc take out the india tours and I still have Macko higher

Except Marshall debuted in 1978 and yet did nothing while Lillee was top of the World. It seems all these so called ATG better bowlers than Lillee only did it after Lillee safely retired to avoid any further direct comparison

But much closer etc. (Also I think Lillee is equal/ahead in England. Maco played weaker batting units comparatively)

There is a 3.3-run difference between Hoggard's and Lillee's standardised averages.

At the time the standardised averages were published, Ishant averaged 34.64 yet his standardised average was just 0.06 greater than Lillee's. Simon Doull and Dion Nash have lower standardised averages than Lillee. It's very funny. Statistically speaking, he was a fraud.

Why do many Pakistani cricketers and fans says Wasim Akram is a match fixer?
because it's very possible he did spot fixing, a lot of the older Indian and Pakistani cricketers had a way to make money other than performance
