Bradman is a trash batter, played farmers in a **** tier era, isn't even better at batting than Jacob Bethall.

I'd say Steve Smith is the Greatest Batsmen of all time, followed by Joe Root, everything before 2010 is less competitve and less intense game, it's amateur era.

also Sachin Tendulkar cannot be compared to Steve Smith

This guy probably eats oily messes for breakfast, lucky to play farmers in an amateur less professional era, nowadays he won't even survive a comparision against Sam Konstas, let alone Steven Smith.

No because they didn't share peers.
They infact did. Woolley, Hobbs, Rhodes, etc played with both.

Also re: vs Hadlee. Richards and Gavaskar both had one Great series vs him at home, Viv definitely better, but Gavaskar's not much worse really. Viv scored 51 more runs in same no of innings (6). Both had one poor tour, Gavaskar's poor tour was better, atleast had a 50 and averaged 12 runs higher. Also Gavaskar scored runs vs Hadlee in the prior tour. So if you rate Richards' NZ series really highly as well, they have close records vs Hadlee. The only bowler Viv did much better against is Lillee and Gavaskar only played him in a 3 match series.

Maybe this should be done here. Make a peace contract and continue with other fruitful discussions imo.

Gavaskar has few things in his favour over Lara

1.Gavaskar scored multiple centuries against many ATG fast bowlers. Lara scored against McGrath and Pollock past his prime. That’s it

2. Sunny is easily the best opener in the last 75 years. There have been more than half a dozen great batsmen at number 4-5 position, some easily better.
also, Gavaskar didn't really face great fast bowlers, he faced trundlers in an underdeveloped era, for example Holding was considered demon pace in the underdeveloped less competitive amateur era but in actuality was slower than McGrath who Lara faced.

I don't think Sunny survives a ball from Brett Lee.

Let alone Jofra Archer......

You're right, it's we who are the ones being pissy lol.
Idk why Crawley>Gavaskar agitates you bro, 5'4 overweight uncle from 1970s in a era of trundlers and amateurs with zero intensity vs 6'5 Greek god from an era of Professionals and proper intensity.
