Roots legacy will depend on 2025 ashes and if he can keep his average above 50.

If he retires averaging 48/49, then most people will rate him below Dravid and all other ATGs.

I expect him to do well in Aus tho. Surely he can’t go 20 games without scoring a hundred.

But yes, he has been the best in the world for a little while.
Finally something you and subs agree on. He doesn’t rate him as an ATG either.

I think he’s similar in quality to Dravid (slightly worse).

His ashes average was 60+ before 23 ashes so the best ashes batsman after Bradman tag will be affected.
