Ah yes that is true. I believe it was 1984. So fair enough they both had their share of problems.Viv did had some eyes issues iirc

I'm not saying everyone, or even most people. I was referencing just one person in particular.Nobody calls lara's post 2000 batting bashing. He averaged 50 in 90s and thats enough to say his atg.
Not bitter and I can point to multiple posts where you down played what he did in the 2000's.When did I dismiss 2001 to 2006 for Lara entirely as post 2000s bashing? I just said at home pitches were flatter, which I also said directly to you about Tendulkar. I called it Lara's second peak many many times.
Stop being bitter.
Mostly about how his 90 issues continued in the 2000s.Not bitter and I can point to multiple posts where you down played what he did in the 2000's.
Australia had big Merv, McDermott and Alderman, not ATG but definitely not poor. England had Willis.More than half the multiple ATG bowlers of the 80s played for WI...... Australia, England and India had poor attacks over that period mostly
What was every one else averaging at the time?Tendulkar was better by virtue of having another peak from 2007/8 to early 2011 where he rose in rankings to become no.1 in the world again. Viv by mid 80s was no.1 in name not really runs or rankings. Yes even with flat pitches Tendulkar still averaged 60 odd then.

And Tendulkars decline 2003 to 2006/7 was mostly injuries.
You're well aware of them, you're just trying to be you as usual.Ah yes that is true. I believe it was 1984. So fair enough they both had their share of problems.
Willis retired in 84. So England infact did not had him.Australia had big Merv, McDermott and Alderman, not ATG but definitely not poor. England had Willis.
How were the pitches compared to the 2000's?
How many all time great bowlers did Viv face in 1980s? Hadlee? Imran? Who else? Lillee at the end of his career? One was a flat pitch era where everyone was cashing in, the other was the heart of the 80's with multiple ATG bowlers and no free lunches.
He doesn't believes in keepers??It is interesting hearing Mr. Kimber's name being referenced.
Even though he's never released an all time XI (very likely on purpose), think I've listened to enough of his videos to make a guess at one.
Think someone mentioned he sees some of the posts, hopefully he can confirm or deny.
Hobbs
Gavaskar / Richards
Bradman
Tendulkar
Smith
Sobers
Imran / Bumrah
Marshall
Warne
McGrath
Again, purely just from listening to him.
lol tier undermining of Lillee in late 70sHow many all time great bowlers did Viv face in 1980s? Hadlee? Imran? Who else? Lillee at the end of his career?
Even he likes your favourite Richards?Hobbs
Gavaskar / Richards
Bradman
Tendulkar
Smith
Sobers
Imran / Bumrah
Marshall
Warne
McGrath
Not the date. You're well aware of them, you're just trying to be you as usual.
Personally don't see that's there's much to separate the likes of Tendulkar, Richards, Sobers and Hobbs, the only argument I make against Hobbs is era.bowler quality argument isn't one you want to make while arguing for Sachin, even against Sobers
We referenced 82 to 88, he faced Willis during that time. What's your point?Willis retired in 84. So England infact did not had him.
Spicier. But it was a bowler's era largely for one super dominant attack.
Think he would replace Marshall or McGrath with Bumrah eventually. It is interesting hearing Mr. Kimber's name being referenced.
