That's just poor Cricket. You've got a day and a bit too bat. Your scoring at better than run a ball and had 6 runs from the past 2 balls. No reason to take on the fielder for a 6. If you just Milk kuhnemann from here he's going to be taken out of the attack anyway.
I think he must have decided he needed to bat like Aus did on that first day especially, but Smith and Khawaja were way more thoughtful with the way they attacked and only selectively tried to run down the pitch to whack the ball over the bowler's head. It's the Lehmann-Clarke approach to batting against spin

Where do you think Kamindu's average will eventually stabilise at? He clearly has real talent, you can see he's got more time at the crease than most. But he's obviously not going to keep those crazy numbers and they're already dropping quickly. Will he be clearly above the likes of Mathews and Chandimal?

Well done Australia but what has happened to SL?

On paper that is a brilliant batting lineup and they're at home.
Yeah I thought they'd be a real threat based on what they did to NZ but this has been abject.
Sri Lanka won the toss and batted 1st in both the tests against New Zealand. They utilised the conditions at their easiest and made the most of it. This match they couldn't do that and have been exposed. No fight, junk performance all around.

Being 5 down and still 350 runs behind, this should be Australia's biggest ever test win over Sri Lanka. Current record is Australia winning by an innings and 201 runs at Melbourne in 2012

I don't know how you decide this. I think he's hit it based on the small deflection but how do you make any sense of that snicko presentation?

Also, can someone tell Channel 7 that K Mendis is not a acceptable abbreviation when there's two K Mendises in the team? What would they do if they were both batting together?

It's the local broadcaster tbf so presumably they would know what the standard way to do it is
