On the subject of the Rumble, genuinely not sure who I would predict to win. First time in what feels like forever where there are literally at least 5-6 guys who conceivably win the thing.

I hope it's Cena tbh, but doubt it will be. If I were to guess, I would say he is likely to be dumped out by Logan Paul (who will probably already have been eliminated by Cena himself at this point), leading to them having a WM feud.

Also, on an unrelated note, wtf has happened to Charlotte Flair? Saw her recent vignette earlier, and her face is basically unrecognisable these days. Has obviously had so much surgery. I hope she is ok.

Cena vs Gunther would be class IMO

Gunther can murder him at Summerslam
Yeah, Cena vs Cody would be decent as well (and you just know Cody will be keen AF for it).

Though I still hold out some (limited) hope that KO may beat Cody tomorrow. I think that'd be pretty cool, and it's about time KO actually won a big singles match.

Punk may end up in a main event but I think Punk vs McIntyre sounds better
There are so many great possible combinations of feuds/matches at the moment tbh.

Punk vs Roman (though I suspect this is more likely for Elimination Chamber), Punk vs Cody, Punk vs Gunther, Roman vs Fatu.

I'd be keen to see any/all of these tbh.

Jade vs Bianca seems likely and while Jade isn't as good an in-ring performer as anyone else listed so far, the spectacle should still be good.

Becky surely back at rumble?

Yeah, Becky and Charlotte to have a face-to-face no doubt.

I wonder if Alexa Bliss will magically overcome her (seemingly) major contract dispute with the E and make an appearance. Sounds like she and her advisors completely mis-read the room with the negotiations, and pissed everyone off massively, if reports are anything to go by.

Apparently she's adamant she deserves Rhea/Charlotte levels of money and, much as I love her, she ain't no Rhea/Charlotte.

I would also expect we get Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, and Dolph Ziggler/Nic Nemeth. Maybe the Hardys as well.

Nikki Bella return also a done deal apparently.

Whatever it takes!!!
He absolutely "gets it" (i.e., pro wrestling). And like Arito says, for someone who is (or at least was, a short while ago) a complete n00b, his ring work is absolutely top tier.

The heat he got the other day made me realise how much HHH has dropped the ball with the New Day though. Their heel turn got them so much legit furious heat, but they've completely stacked it.
For all his failings, the one thing Vince often got right was to make something out of it when organic stuff happens. So many others, including apparently Trips, struggle so much with it.

Haha TBF Vince also had to be dragged kicking and scream towards embracing organically occuring storylines a lot of the time too. And frequently punished people who got over "without permission" (e.g., Ryder)

Yeah... he was obviously rather egomaniacal but I think he responded better, esp. in his earlier years, to organic reactions from fans far better than almost every other head honcho running one of the big wrestling companies in my time of watching.

I am talking about how he noticed Diesel getting over, or Stone Cold, or even Mankind and his various personas, and obviously The Rock.

Don't think Vince deserves particular credit there compared to Haitch. Vince bottled as many 'moments' as he took advantage of imo

I mean anyone in the internet era has had far more ways to "get" the pulse of the audience than the guys before did. And look, I hate to do this but if you are gonna credit Trips for what he is doing in the last 2 or 3 years, you gotta blame him for the nonsense booking of himself from 2002 to about 2005. I am almost positive the RA era's failure is completely down to him and the way he booked himself.

Womens rumble was pretty decent until the spot where Jax eliminated a bunch at once. Just messy and lazy and sucked the air out of it all. Not hating on Jax there, shes been a lot better but the whole setup was stupid
