There is a high chance of 16-0
If you lose the series half way , there is very little motivation to keep on playing
History actually indicates the opposite, dead rubbers tend to be won by the side that's already lost a disproportionate amount compared to the series trends. Presumably because the side that's already won is the one that actually loses a bit of motivation.

It's been a disaster. It's clear that the England Ladies are not fit enough and also not good enough to beat Australia in any given format on a more regular basis. Something needs to be done with the fitness side of things. For the England Players to ignore or shun Alex Hartley is a bit pathetic as she's only giving the right opinion

Have heard some funny excuses but blaming the weather for the lack of athleticism is right up there.

I see a lot of headlines are saying that Grace Harris wants to 'embarrass' England with a 16-0 win. I thought that's not very classy from a bit part player. But then you actually read the whole quote and are reminded what clickbait wankers journalists are.

England are largely embarrassing themselves anyway.
Punish them.

Capsey, Smith and Filer in for Bouchier, Glenn and Bell. Glenn was getting punished in this series so that was an obvious move, though Kemp/Filer as pacers just seems too light - probably should've gone with three and Knight could've been a third spinner. I hope Capsey gets a score as England need her (and Bouchier) for any rebuild. Can't see AUS losing though.

Dunkley opening and Capsey at 3 - these just don't work IMO. Play them both further down the order if they absolutely must play.

Went back to listen to TMS to hear what Alex Hartley thinks of this - I think "incandescent with rage" wouldn't be overstating it much

I only caught a bit of the first innings, but when I heard her on TV comms she sounded like she was trying really hard to highlight the positives of England's bowling (Ecclestone in particular). Must be extremely frustrating for her.

I'm feeling pretty flat about this series now. It's such a shame because I was really looking forward to the test when they announced it.
