Credit to Hartley really. Most of the pundits fresh from playing don't say what's needed to be said for fear of burning bridges. It should be remembered that she's a World Cup winner too, there's only 3 left in the current squad who can say that and the rest now seem a long way from repeating that feat.

Hartley has done lots for the women's game, she's been a breath of fresh air in the commentary box to the extent where she's clearly won over an old stickler like Agnew. I can get whilst maybe some players might give her the cold shoulder (the truth hurts), but if the coach is doing likewise then it's just another reason why he should be getting his P45.
When Roger Rashid criticised Casey Delaqua’s physical condition at an Aus Open a few years ago he was basically torched for fat shaming her. I don’t think that’s what he was doing, he just said you need to be as fit as you can present yourself to win majors, but he copped a ton of flak for it.

obviously a bit of a different optic if it comes from a bloke, but I don’t see how either his or Hartley’s criticism is out of place tbh

Hartley's best mate (Cross) is in this squad. She's only saying it because she wants them to be the best they can. That they've taken it completely the wrong way shows how screwed up the squad has become. Glad it seems to be coming to a head tbh

I mean Aus didn't really deserve to win either with the way they've bowled. Lots of half volleys
Fair but I still think if a full 20 overs got bowled Australia win.

Credit where credit is due I guess, England had started well and rules are rules. Just think that the way DLS goes in T20's is really unfavourable for the side that bats first.
