The Stoinis innings was fine. While he and Maxwell were in they were exactly where they needed to be. Stoinis taking extra risks to score faster would have been super dumb. Context matters

Edit: I mean it still wasn't a good knock because he got out lol, but the scoring rate while he was there wasn't an issue

Yeah absolutely. If Maxwell and Stoinis batted deep into the innings the run rate was never going to be an issue.

Tbf Dwarshuis has been boshing them very well. You can see why he'd be ahead if one of them is coming in with an over or 2 to go

He saves runs in the field every game and consistently makes match changing plays

What’s a better contract for an international franchise?

Silk on a minimum deal or someone who gets a massive contract on the basis of random batting success for one season?

I think Silk is better than that as a batsman and one of the best value players in the BBL. I wish the Gades would get him and Hilton Cartwright as they're perfect under the radar players with upside if you give them more opportunities.
