100 km/h deliveries ripping past the outside edge. India might demand a test here rather than the SCG next time they tour. Imagine Jadeja (well, maybe not the who actually turned up this summer) and Axar on it.

Would it actually have made a difference? India's batting is if anything even worse on turners than they are on greentops.

I actually quite like that it's a genuine turner tbh. Makes for something totally different
So do I, and I'd like to see a few of them in the Sheffield Shield. It would be beneficial if each team had to pick two spinners at least a couple of times a year.

Honestly the Aus team might be wasting their time going over to Dubai for their prep - just camp out at Blacktown for a few weeks

This pitch could be a worthwhile one to practice on. Galle will be a lot lower bouncing though.

Part of my original comment was that Sangha, who didn't turn the ball much before his injury, really doesn't it outside of very favourable conditions now.

Yeah it's not just slow like it often is here, it's really gripping.

Green just "bowled" a massive doosra, lmao. They called it a carrom ball but I really don't think it was.

Garton's fielding proving quite the difference here. If the Stars had fielded like him they'd have probably won, but they decided to field like 11 planks instead.
