Australia is playing WI away this team.
2022/23 and 2023/24 were both at home.
Windies pitches are usually flat. Whatever small loss he has in SL can be more than made up in WI. Though he could lose 1-2 points in the 6 tests vs Eng & SA. So imo he'll still be 54+ by year end.
Yeah probably.

Given the forecast in Galle, I doubt they can prepare a turner. Australia at the moment doing all sorts of training on tailor made spinning tracks in Dubai. But they might get something completely different in Galle haha

This year when/if Smith tours the WI will for me because the first time in a while he'll be facing us with a decent attack. Now this of course is assuming any two of the following pace bowlers are fit: Seales, Roach, Shamar + Motie or Warrican.

Hopefully the pitches aren’t too flat. They should roll out spicy pitches like the ones in the Aus vs Ind series for Seales and Shamar.

Yeah spicy pitches are good and all but then our F grade level batting will have to deal with Cummins, Starc and Haze (or Boland) and quite frankly it won't end well for us. Matter of fact, anything less than a 2-0 win for Australia would be a huge surprise.
