okThis competition gets the level of English player it deserves. I'd expect Duckett to take a SA20 gig next year.

my guy the attention spans of your cricket watching public are so paper thin that T20 was too much for themThis competition gets the level of English player it deserves. I'd expect Duckett to take a SA20 gig next year.
Probably because he's basically W Indian who only qualified for England through his grandmother.jordan has a rare trait for an englishman (likability) and so it’s no surprise he does well in the bash
They should base their entertainment on something related to failing to maintain an empire, or minimising culinary palatability. Sport just isn't their thingmy guy the attention spans of your cricket watching public are so paper thin that T20 was too much for them
Yeah, it's a pile of shite, but it doesn't seem to stop the best Aussies trying to sign up for it.....unlike the Bash.my guy the attention spans of your cricket watching public are so paper thin that T20 was too much for them
A good pro, but at 36 he's a few years past it. The better England players this year do seem to have chosen SA comp. Probably more money given the Indian links.jordan has a rare trait for an englishman (likability) and so it’s no surprise he does well in the bash
There was a much stronger English contingent last year when it didn't clash with an Indian Tour.A good pro, but at 36 he's a few years past it. The better England players this year do seem to have chosen SA comp. Probably more money given the Indian links.
IL20 doesn't help either. When two big money comps run at the same time it basically means the BBL has to fight with the scraps.SA20 has such better overseas players. What's with that
I'll be honest though - I genuinely don't care if random English county players do well. I'm never going to go to a game going "geez, I'm looking forward to seeing George Garton tonight" or "who could forget about Tom Alsop this evening?". It means nothing to me if they do competently and I'd honestly just rather give promising local kids a go instead. There are plenty of mediocre English county players who have done well in the Bash. Equally there are some future internationals who have been rubbish. For example, Ian ****bain has a better BBL record than Harry Brook.
A feat that has now been surpassed by his teammate.Conceding 43 in a total this low is a fair effort.
Well I think it’s fun.I'll be honest though - I genuinely don't care if random English county players do well.
