Yeah show seems great so far but the look and feel is just not right, somehow, IMO.

Yeah on the whole this period is the most "consistently good" the E has been in a very long time.

I don't mind this in principle (it's actually quite a refreshing change from the "very traditional" E look, that has stayed the same for 3+ decades), but the way some of the logos look like they are essentially cheap stickers (you can see the corners lifting up and everything) does make it look a little crap. The canvas also doesn't look like it is strapped to the mat tightly enough. You can see it moving around underneath the wrestlers at times.

Decent show overall. First time I have watched a RAW in its entirety for ages though, and I had forgotten how bloated these shows feel with the three hour runtime.

I think RAW just went down to 2 in that period between the old TV deal ending and the Netflix deal coming into effect.

I've not seen the episode (or anything in months other than Youtube highlights tbh) but that's a shame if so. His heel run this last year was by some distance the best thing he's done in wrestling in years. (Probably since he was still a regular in fact? Which somehow is more than 2 decades ago now...)

Hopefully it's just to reinforce the existing status quo to a wider audience - Cody babyface hero, Roman the tribal chief.

And Rock gradually retreads the same sort of story as last year with a months long heel run to Mania. Not sure if I think that is likely, but it is certainly possible with HHH at the helm.

The problem is Rock just seems to show up as and when he likes, without ever committing properly to any long term story or plan, which obviously makes designing long term feuds and angles etc. extremely challenging.
