Cricket stuff that doesn't deserve its own thread

Beamer

International Vice-Captain
Nothing has made me more confident that Jay Shah's upcoming tenure will be an improvement over the current ICC leadership than... reading the thoughts of the current (outgoing) ICC leadership.

The chairman proudly admits he doesn't even know what Test series are going on right now ffs.
Same guy called for West Indies to be disbanded as well. That is what our leadership are up against when they travel to Dubai for negotiations on funding models etc. Very instructive, if a bit mental.

Apparently Australia now hold every bilateral "trophy". As in they have won the most recent series (that wasn't a draw) against everyone. Wonder how often that happens these days. Presumably India have done it at some stage over the past 10-15 years especially after cycle where they've played all SENA teams in India

One of my young bloke’s mates works on the primary school program for CNSW and puts the vids together for their social media.

There’s one doing the rounds atm where Haze visits a primary school up in the Hills area (all Tory ***** let’s be honest) and from what Burgeinho’s mate said there was a kid there being a smart arse ****, being gobby, hogging some limelight, it letting anyone else have a chat or get some time with Haze etc.

They say never meet your heroes, and in this video the smart arse kid says to Haze “who’s the easiest wicket you’ve ever taken?” to which Haze, obviously having had enough of the little arsehole, says “probably you in 5 minutes when we go over there and have a hit.” Sure enough they went out and had a hit and he castled the kid first ball, much to the joy of his class mates.

We’ve all known that kid at school. Hopefully he isn’t too damaged and has learned a lesson.

I think there could be a time when India line up for a test with this XI in batting order..

Dhawan
Pujara
Kohli (vc)
Rohit
Raina
Dhoni (wk) (c)
Jadeja
Ashwin
Bhuvi
Ishant
Umesh

Honestly, not the worst side we can put out on the park, if Raina can somehow get decent against short pitched bowling..
Was surprisingly on point way back in 2013
(Except for ofcourse, Raina and Rohit being shuffled)

Doesn’t count as they chickened out of facing Afghanistan and Bangladesh (who they last drew with)
