Ethyl mbhalathi, thami tsolekile and lonwabo tsotsobe have been arrested and criminality charged in the ram slam match fixing scandal. Scandal dates back to 2015/2016. Goolam Bodi and Jean Symes had already pleaded guilty. All were given lifetime bans from cricket.

After Sri Lanka's 42 the other day I had a look at the list of lowest Test scores in the 21st century with all 10 wickets falling (so e.g. India's 36ao with a retired hurt isn't included in the list).
The 10 lowest scores (up to 51) were made by 10 different teams. South Africa's lowest of 55 is 13th; Afghanistan's lowest is 103 (=92nd).



It's also noticeable that 7 of the bottom 13 scores were made in South Africa (4 at Cape Town).

so it’s obvious the companies provide kit to certain players for the exposure and in the hope of selling more equipment to the masses. Makes sense for the most part - people see international players using certain gear and want to emulate them.

But gray nic are surely doing themselves a massive disservice sponsoring Ollie Pope. There can’t be a kid on this or any other planet who would watch that muppet and think “**** me, I’ll go grab GN.” They’d be better off saving their dough.
