Dont see the two remaining batters lasting too much longer tomorrow.

If india win reasonably OK(no bumrah to bowl based on basic medical knowledge)- Man of the match will be Pant for this 40 in the 1st inn and his 61 off only 33 balls in the 2nd inn. In a match where even 50 runs is a big deal, Pant has been exemplary. The 61 knock could potentially be matchwinning.

If Australia win, based off this performance gotta give Scott Boland the MOM here unless a batter completely takes the game(all the batters were poor in the 1st inn bar Webster). Bolands got 8 wickets in this match at basically an average of 12 and been unplayable, got the big wicket of Kohli twice in a row again. He has a chance to add atleast another 1-2 wickets tomorrow.

thats even worse. he will do even more damage to his body if hes got painkillers. pain in the body is a responsible signal to rest, hence the pain signals. Hes not Wolverine.

You actively posted your side before the first Test, and it included Jurel as a specialist batsman but Pant batting ahead of him and keeping.



If you thought batting 5 and keeping for five Tests might be too high of a workload for Pant then you could have just suggested he bat lower down or not keep, considering you had a much better keeper than him in the team batting lower than him.

But it gets even better, because you thought Jurel was going to be your leading run scorer in the series!



So you clearly wanted to play both, clearly wanted Pant to keep, and clearly weren't worried about his workload until his form was sketchy and you saw it as an excuse.

You can lie all you want. None of my posts ever suggested him playing as a pure batsman. Almost never, not even during the 20-21 BG series when many thought Saha should keep and Pant should play as a batter. I think I may have come to that thought maybe for the last test simply because the rest were all injured.

It is very simple and straight forward. Pant is not gonna wanna bat the way he does if he is not the keeper. So if he is playing, he keeps. And managing his workload simply means resting him from one of the tests given what he has been through and how his knee may still just be adjusting to the massive workloads of an international, especially test match, keeper-batsman.

it was seen to be before wasnt it? hes their best bat statistically over a decade..based on the celebration it is still a big wicket.

Based on this performance, the selectors will Rotate Boland and hazlewood more regularly in future seasons 50/50 based on the pitch and hazlewoods fitness. I think also Starc, later in the series, he needs to be rotated out for a wicket taker like Jhye.

If he's risking a stress fracture, genuinely, then that wouldn't be smart. What's the point of having your best bowler out for 2 years, just because the rest of the team couldn't do their job all series.
