Best batter since the advent of T20I has to be Virat.. best t20i batsman ever and best odi batsman since 2007.. he ****ed up in test though

I feel that either Rana or Prasiddh would be underutilized and might not add much to the game(with similar cohort Reddy already available in the team). I would instead opt for a young spinner and give him a chance to showcase his skills at Sydney.

Tanush can be included as a bowler, which is his strong suit. In a series with a depleted and low on morale squad, you need a spark of unknown brilliance to provide that element of surprise. Reddy is under utilized as bowler and can hold more than fairly as 5th bowler. He is far better than how his numbers look so far and Rohit's reluctancy to over burden him with bowling duties.

wouldve been ok if they actually played well after that though. the issue is the lack of form. distractions dont help. hes paid millions in endorsements(in India) per year, the scores hes making are not worth all the endorsements he gets, he is a very average test cricketer.

India don't need another spinner. They need another fast bowler.

Kohli has scored a ton in this series and batted well before running Jaiswal out in Melbourne. Given how this series has gone against batsmen generally, those numbers would be acceptable if he wasn't being compared to the rest of his career. He's still got an innings in him despite his decline. Even if it's against the odds he's still worth playing.

Just turn the lights on, and use a pink ball. Yes it's harder, but it evens out in the long term. Plus, maybe adds a little more strategy on when to declare, etc.
