re: Lillee and Ambrose, the year Ambrose first toured England (88) Lillee was playing his final FC cricket there. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was there just on that.

On this, Andy Roberts is underrated. Obviously WI have had a long list of great quicks but Andy gets overlooked. He was an incredible bowler. Might make my AT WI xi as the 4th quick.

I love Roberts more than most here, but will find it genuinely hard to make a case for him over a y of Marshall, Holding, Garner or Ambrose.

Him vs Garner is the final pick. I just find Amby and Joel offer similar USPs so may opt for Andy over Joel. Marshall, Holding and Ambrose are locks.
