How often does India choke must-win Tests, though? It feels like it happens a lot to Australia....

It's crazy how much mentally weaker we seem in standard Tests.

NGL this seems a bit ridiculous. Deep just smoked him for 6!
Get a hold of yourself ffs. It's literally their first innings. We're talking about the possibility of getting a very very small chance of winning the game.

Firstly, 20% is massively overstating the chances of victory and secondly, it's ridiculous to call something that had an 80% chance of happening, happening anyway, "series-changing".

If anything missing the follow-on could simply mean that the game is basically shut down now and the bowlers get to save their legs.
I'm more thinking mentally. Somehow being stuck 5/80 after following-on at the end of Day 5 feels different to making Australia bat twice. Like India can feel they got themselves out of jail rather than having the weather save them, which may have not been the case if they got bowled out for 200 and struggled in the second dig.

Though yes, I think Australia would've cooked themselves with just three bowlers, all of whom have played three Tests on the trot. And if there was a great game-saving partnership on Day 5 the effect would've been the same.

Think Mitch Marsh has to go now if he still isn't properly fit. Having him there just ensures more legs into the pure bowlers and increases the risk that one breaks down. Who the **** comes in now if one of Cummins, Starc or Boland break down?

going off for bad light right after the number 11 hits the pace spearhead for a massive six is ****ing hilarious.
Umpires know when to end a plot point.

Game's done, everything else is derivative. Mission accomplished for India, anything else today is but wasted sperm.

It’s genuinely tragic seeing an international team giving themselves a standing O when they’re 195 behind with one in hand. Fellas, time for a little introspection.
tragic to see the aussie bowlers are unable to bowl india out again to win the series.

broken back ashwin - unable to walk vihari in sydney last time

debutants shardul-sundar last time in gabba

akashdeep-bumrah this time

Depends how much play there is tomorrow I guess and if Aus can make India stay out there in the fetid **** hole for an extended period
