Do they actually think that? I think they're probably quite pleased with their work; if nothing else it's put an end to the era of endless ball changes because the ball has turned into an undifferentiated sponge.
Maybe not them, but I bet you administrators - not least in CA - are asking a few questions with all the three day tests recently. Though personally I think the best solution would be to make the pitches less grassy.

I don't know whether to pin this on Jadeja not being able to land the ball in the same spot for some reason or Rohit setting such odd fields and changing them so often that he's legitimately not sure what he's meant to do.

Been watching off and on today but I think I've seen every ball NKR has bowled and not one from A Deep. While the latter is the one I want to see I think NKR has shown enough as a 4th seamer. He didn't get many overs in the 2 previous seam friendly tests and now gets to bowl on the best pitch of the summer so far. His wicket might seem lucky but he did keep it full and dared the Marnus drive. Also had Travis dropped and got one to leap on Smith. Speeds around the 125 - 133k mark which is ok. Worst part of his performance has been ER but then he's bowled a few at Travis.

Attack has lost potency with each test. 2nd test was OKish, but 3rd test, out of the bowlers, only Bumrah has wickets. Pitch is a bit on the slow and flat side though. Dont think a result is possible here.

Have WAYYYYYYY too much confidence in the Indian batting unit
You are giving that muppet far too much credit. Bloke genuinely doesn't have an attention span long enough to even remember what any Indian has done with the bat, one wicket here and he would be saying Australia are going to lose by an innings

I do wonder if part of Jadeja's problem compared to previous series (and Ashwin's in the last game) is that Rohit waited waaay too long to get him on; a lot easier to build pressure and get into your spell bowling at the top three scoring at 2rpo rather than a Travis Head who is starting to ramp up the tempo
