Whatever it takes!!!
Honestly, will take 3/100 in these conditions. India a little wasteful IMO
I think we wasted quite a bit of the new ball yesterday and there were times we could have bowled fuller and closer to the stumps but overall I think we have bowled pretty well and I feel 300-350 is par for these conditions. If it gets better for batting or it just quickens up like Perth a little bit, will determine the outcome of the match from here-on. Plus, of course, obviously the weather.

Why hasn't Sharma bowled Jadeja yet. He was even down a pacer for awhile when Siraj went off. Not even given the token spinner over before lunch

It's obviously never going to change at this point but I really wish Smith would stop trying to moonlight as an umpire after appeals.

I would be beyond delighted if we got like 320, I think that would be a very solid total in these conditions.

Ball is 45 overs right now and still seaming and bouncing a bit, it's definitely not going to be easy

Its been that kinda day so far. Smith has batted for a long time and yet his only two boundaries were both off genuine nicks and at least one was a possible chance had there been a 3rd slip.

Jaddu's spell may well end up being crucial. If he keeps the batsmen honest and gets them out when they inevitably try to attack him, this may well go India's way. But I feel the movement and bounce are pretty true so far in this track, so if you do get yourself in, you should back yourself to make runs against the seamers here.

I suspect the pitch is kind of inconsistent in pace and bounce (and the outfield is slow). It seems to be really difficult to time drives on the front foot.

That is because they are hanging back, IMO. The ball has not moved alarmingly either way and the bounce has been consistent. If anything the pace maybe slightly slower due to the rain and the softness in the track and the pace may actually become more consistent (even if quicker) over the next day or two.

Anyways seems moot when the forecast is this bad as its hard to see a result happening. Although given our tendency to lollapse in 80 overs (both innings put together) I wont put it past us to find a way to lose here.
