Doesn't need to be injured, just fatigued will do. India is a much different team with a fatigued BumrahI love the fact that you think the only way you are beating us is if one of our players gets injured.
My point still stands.Doesn't need to be injured, just fatigued will do. India is a much different team with a fatigued Bumrah
Yeah that shot was a bit ominous. He is looking really good now.Better from Smith
Not falling over
They've been allowed to by the lengths bowled IMO. That shot Smith just played there, India should have been wanting to see that shot more. That is because they are hanging back, IMO. The ball has not moved alarmingly either way and the bounce has been consistent. If anything the pace maybe slightly slower due to the rain and the softness in the track and the pace may actually become more consistent (even if quicker) over the next day or two.
Anyways seems moot when the forecast is this bad as its hard to see a result happening. Although given our tendency to lollapse in 80 overs (both innings put together) I wont put it past us to find a way to lose here.

I think part of why I'm being critical is that Smith looks, still, extremely vulnerable to anything full and straight, but it feels like he goes entire overs without having to be tested thereTrue but its at least been to a plan. We seemed to lack that in Adelaide.
Its really only Siraj who can bowl that full. Akashdeep hits the stumps in India from the same lengths so he is still adjusting and we have seen bowlers easily end up floating balls when they suddenly try to bowl full. Its not been their best but they have not been bad either, is my point.I think part of why I'm being critical is that Smith looks, still, extremely vulnerable to anything full and straight, but it feels like he goes entire overs without having to be tested there
I actually think Akash has been the consistently fullest of the bowlers on show today, he's been good IMO. A few floaty drive balls are actually a price that is worth paying in these conditions. Its really only Siraj who can bowl that full.
