Less athletic, certainly. Always difficult to compare eras however I recall a 1950s player quoted in one of the Stephen Chalke books as saying ‘modern players are fitter, but we were tougher’. Given 6 days a week County schedules, faster over rates, uncovered wickets and lack of protective equipment I think the opinion has validity.

Just for the record, I use subscriptions and new posts to navigate the forum and as such have actually no idea where stuff is posted.

If I'm asked I will move stuff - I believe I am the favoured mod of @PlayerComparisons when he messes up because he knows I have a quick turnout when he asks me - but if you don't alert me to it I just won't notice.

If you tag four other mods and not me then I will just be salty about it and let people hate you for your error forever.

I rate Younis Khan above Kohli when it comes to playing any kind of lateral movement, be it turn, seam movement or swing. But yes, Kohli is a greater cricketer, which brings me to that subshakerz thread.

Kohli is the undisputed king of white ball cricket though.
