*Official* Pakistan in Australia 2024 (white ball tour)

Still have no idea why mcgurk feels the need to try and slap every ball for 6 to the legside in ODI's. He can score boundaries in the PP on both sides of the ground playing a few more conventional shots.
He's clearly immature and/or unintelligent.

I can't remember an international cricketer I enjoyed watching less. He is the embodiment of the entitled generation. His averages in every form of the game are absolutely diabolical. Makes Finn Allen look like Don Bradman

What does the "entitled generation" mean?

Australia once again trying to give there wickets away by hitting long hops straight down the throats of fielders either side of the wicket, depending on how much width they got. Shame Pakistan don't want to catch most of the chances.

Been told they're amazing all their lives, all about the adulation on social media, don't want to work hard enough to produce achievements of any real substance. Finn Allen is our version, and he's in a different league than Jake 'I average under 23 in four of the five formats I play, and 30 in the other' Fraser-McGurk.

Josh Inglis is another, we're just not used to Australia picking guys who are clearly not up to the level. Averaging 24 with a high score of 65 and batting at 4 for Australia is something I never thought I'd see.

Bit harsh on inglis. People seem to forget that A. Allrounders take longer to figure out there game at all levels, particularly international cricket, and B. Keeper bat's are allrounders. Since the start of the covid shield bubble at KOR in AUS inglis has 7 fc hundreds at an average of 50+ and 1500+ runs. Similiar story of him only really figuring out List-A cricket in that 2019 period (don't have his domestic numbers for that, but it's a similiar picture. Same deal in ODI cricket, 25 @105 overall, but in the past 6 months it's 45 @125.

Inglis is a lot better than a 24 average suggests. Anyone who's seen a lot of him over the last year and a bit can attest to that. Does look a bit weird that he's batting 4, traditionally the spot of one of your best, but that's a matter of circumstance more than anything. Head, Marsh back and he'll slide back down. Anyway he's a high quality player

That's fair, I haven't watched a lot of him outside of ODIs/T20Is against us and England, and Big Bash stuff. This is probably lazy, nostalgic stuff by me but you expect Australian No.4s and Australia WK/bats to have something about them...just don't feel like Josh Inglis is ever going to hurt you.

Speaking of poor ODI averages, I've never seen an Aussie side so low.

1. Short - 21.62
2. McGurk - 20.00
4. Inglis - 24.47
6. Hardie - 18.00
Yeah and obviously that's tempered by the fact those guys have played F all ODI cricket, but it's not what you're used to from a team who wins World Cups as regularly as my post morning-coffee bowel movement

They're back up players with a handful of matches under their belt (samplesizelol). Really not that unusual

Look at all this advertising c-rap they are projecting out onto the field. Pathetic. What an absolute farce. Absolute clowns ruining the sport. They are making cricket unwatchable.
