Fair way to go.

Looking at the overall list, seems the easiest times for low strike rates since 1900 were the pre war era and the current era. Nice lil bookend.
Throw in spicy pitches and some reckless batting, bowlers s/rs are low in this era of 3 day tests as teams "move the game forward".
