So Kuldeep can have even less runs to play with?Kuldeep Yadav.
Instead of dropping Kohli if India wanna win they drop Ashwin and Jadeja and bring in those two.
Don’t know if that qualifies as absurd or awesome. He’s also played more matches than him.Jadeja now has more 10 wickets in a match than Shakib.
Isn't that awesomely absurd?Don’t know if that qualifies as absurd or awesome. He’s also played more matches than him.
Or maybe that he's just played more tests so expected?Isn't that awesomely absurd?
Or maybe me posting that is absurdly awesome (or maybe just absurd).
Maybe.Or maybe that he's just played more tests so expected?
Given almost all of them have around 60 wickets (87 at best); Rabada sure comes out extremely impressive, as does Steyn.Since 1900, 5 bowlers (min 2000 balls bowled) have a SR of less than 40 balls per wicket. 4 of them are current players.
Kuldeep Yadav 56 wickets @ 37.3 SR
Kagiso Rabada 313 wickets @ 38.5 SR
Shane Bond 87 wickets @ 38.7 SR
Duanne Olivier 59 wickets @ 38.8 SR
Jayden Seales 62 wickets @ 39.3 SR
Next best guys are Barnes (41.6), Steyn (42.3) and Vogler (43.1)
Rabada with the best economy and average of the lot. Also more wickets than all of them combined.Since 1900, 5 bowlers (min 2000 balls bowled) have a SR of less than 40 balls per wicket. 4 of them are current players.

Fair way to go.After 953 balls O'Rourke is on 36.6
Throw in spicy pitches and some reckless batting, bowlers s/rs are low in this era of 3 day tests as teams "move the game forward".Fair way to go.
Looking at the overall list, seems the easiest times for low strike rates since 1900 were the pre war era and the current era. Nice lil bookend.
@sayon basakIt's no longer true but I read somewhere that at some point Naseem Shah avged more with the bat in both tests and ODIs than Surya and now Surya avgs less than Naseem with ball in T20Is
Yeah, and I've come to know that just yesterday. Wasim Akram's highest ICC bowling ranking is 2, and highest ICC Rating is 830. (unbelievably low for a bowler like him; for reference, Shaheen Afridi's peak rating is 836!)
