It's like he started out trying to off-drive it, then change his mind to a flick, then tried to sweep it. Ended up hitting the bat onto the groundWhat the **** was that?
Clearly 259 is slightly above par.Pitch came to life later in the afternoon and every other ball was doing something. I think 259 is still a good score, although NZ had relatively easier conditions in the initial 40+ overs, so should have definitely got 325+. Having said that, 259 appears to be around par anyway, if not slightly above par, based on current state of the pitch.
He missed it by quite a way, and it was a full bungerIt's like he started out trying to off-drive it, then change his mind to a flick, then tried to sweep it. Ended up hitting the bat onto the ground
Sarfaraz in next isn't going to help on that front either.Rishabh **** and Jaiswal batting together is BazBall-level gross test cricket, so they’ll probably bat forever
He pulled the string on it Vettori style, it looked like a juicy full toss but wasn't quite as full as he thought.I just think he instinctively tried to slog a knee high full toss and it was a bit slower and didn’t get to him
He has batted 5 all the time since SCG and Gabba back in 2020/21. Not sure what is curious about that? He has been our regular #5 in tests.Pant in front of Sarfraz is curious
He's undroppable though for some Indian fans.Virat Kohli not in league of other elite test batsmen
Yeah it's more than Sarfaraz is being shuffled so much. I suppose #6 is a logical position for him at this stage. He has batted 5 all the time since SCG and Gabba back in 2020/21. Not sure what is curious about that? He has been our regular #5 in tests.
He was but he isn't as good as he once was, he is still worth his place in this Indian batting line up and they won't drop him no matter how bad he is.Virat Kohli not in league of other elite test batsmen
