It's definitely a loss, the guy has 8880 Test runs and a wealth of experience. I am happy Young is getting another go after this week, but he's not Kane.

I wanna be obnoxious and say this is good for NZ but I feel it wont be.
Bad luck for Kane. A wonderful batsman to watch and his contests against our spinnners have been really fun to follow. He may not have had great succcess against us but he will always try something new and challenge our bowlers.
