His overall record just isn't there for me (don't think only looking at his numbers at 7 makes sense). Watling, Dhoni, de Kock, Lindsay, Prior all better at 7.

I believe keeper batsmen who score runs are stereotyped into being bad keepers , in the England vs Pakistan thread there was a poster questioning Rizwan's place in the Pak team which is crazy to me.

You would think he was Kakmal levels bad as a keeper based on a couple of posters here in CW and yet I have seen so much of his career and hardly recall anything about his keeping, which is usually a good thing.
Jadeja and Ashwin both have too patchy a record away from Asia to be considered ATGs.
I don't know if that's too controversial because he was insanely good in his peak, although Tendulkar's greatest days were probably a bit early for me.

I don't see this at all. Never seen Gilchrist, Dhoni or Sangakkara called bad keepers just because they could bat exceptionally well
