*OFFICIAL* England in Pakistan 2024

As clear an example of mental collapse as you’ll see. As an opener I really feel for the guy.
I was an opener too.

One of the tough things about being an opener is when you are out in the field for a day or two and then you have to bat straight away with no break.

The other batsmen get a chance to have a break and refresh before they bat, not for Masood in this case though, he may as well have been opening.

Heard both catches were tough, but you've got to take one of them on this pitch. And I think we need wickets now while they're frazzled.
Yep, needed to take one of those and Atkinson's was probably the easiest. But no doubt still fuming at Woakes dropping one off his bowling...

It's even better that it was bowled.

My brain refuses to accept that England only batted for 150 overs. I'm having thoughts like "well Pakistan's openers will be exhausted after an eternity in the field". Then I realise that it's only as long as England were out there in the first innings and it didn't seem to hold them back.

There is the moral stress though.

Yeah they will be deflated and have run around more etc. But I feel we need wickets today. Tomorrow will be harder unless there's a lot more spin. They will have regrouped and refreshed then.

Whatever it takes!!!
This is amazing. Brook is awesome. So is Root.

Obviously England are favorites but I think if Pak can dig deep and get the draw (pitch is still a road), it may set them up to even win this series.

Chasing leather does make it drag more when you're out there tbf.
