*Official* Australia limited overs tour of Scotland and England 2024

Molehill

International Captain
1) the toss
2) selectors fault

taking bets on what will make the hatrick of molehill excuses let's go people
The toss is a recurring theme, England continue to opt to bowl first no matter what and it's just daft. Not saying it cost them the result, but it was wrong.

Buttler was unable to play so they called up a bowling all rounder to play as a specialist bat. Aus wouldn't play Abbott as a batting only replacement for Head. I think we're right to call this out.

Head's knock undoubtedly won the game, after that it was fairly even. I swear this bloke is just on the wind up with me after being so useless for Sussex. (As an aside, Daniel Hughes is my new favourite Aussie).

Head & Short got 50 off 27 balls in first game and now even faster with 50 off 24 balls this time

Head gone early but not before already inflicting some damage.
Gonna take a stab here and say Aussie may have found their new long term opening partnership.
Head is just stark raving crazy mad and Short will compliment him well with his more solid approach.
