*Official* Australia limited overs tour of Scotland and England 2024

Given the squad available, hard to see how this doesn’t finish 3-0. Mousley can replace a seamer, but there’s simply not enough batting. The squad is daft, can’t they draft Brook or Duckett in?

No problem with them having the 8-11 they selected but as Jacks and Livingstone bowl (and even Bethell), you're better off with genuine batters over Curran and Overton.

I presume had Buttler been fit the absurd Overton selection wouldn’t have happened. Curran’s form with the bat made him a legitimate pick. Hopefully, Cox and Bethell will be better on Friday.

I see that Phil Salt remains far superior to Will Jacks
Salt would’ve been out first ball again but for a no ball. His captaincy in the field was kind of odd and the decision to bowl completely wrong.

But he’s been dealt a bad hand with this squad.

This is an interesting graph,

England at the halfway point somewhat thought that they pulled things back in the innings nicely...but they were just delaying Aussies' victory.
Also, it shows how difficult it was to bat in the second innings. Cool stuff.

Like a typical West Indian batsman, Bethell showed that he can't handle spin well. Hope I am wrong for saying this and he comes good in the next match.
