*Official* Bangladesh Tour of Pakistan- Test Series

Bahseph

International Debutant
Been following this match and it seems to have been a total misreading of conditions wasn't it? Perhaps some underestimating of Bangladesh as well. Pakistan do seem to cycle through pacers but there has always been someone who is leading the attack. Who is that right now? Seems like they don't have a banker right now. Someone they can turn to and ask them to lead the attack. It should be Afridi, but it does seem like he isn't at his best.

Abrar or a semi decent spinner for Pakistan would have turned the result to draw atleast. Going with four pacers was overkill here esp likes of Ali who brought nothing to the attack. There was grass but it was never going to last through five days.

So, assuming they don't score this series.

Babar needs to go, Shan needs to go. Shaheen needs a rest until he's fit enough for tests. Who else?

Babar Azam won't be dropped even if he fails the rest of the season on these roads. Pretty sure he will get a big one soon.

They did not misread the conditions, the pitch just did not behave as expected /azhar
Heh

But seriously, while too much is made of 'reading' pitches, there wasn't that much grass. Did none of the look at or feel it before a match? Even then, it's Rawalpindi. You can be assured it's not Chester-le-Street in April or Perth in the 1974.

Whatever it takes!!!
Pak have been playing for the optics than actual results for a while now. I think it started under Rameez and Imran and has pretty much been going since then. No wonder something like this happened to them.

Great game for Bangladesh though, esp. considering everything that is happening at home for them. Congrats to them and all BD fans here, including @cnerd123

Taskin is a far poorer and slower bowler with the red ball. If Nahid is able to bowl the way he did in the second innings it's more of a contest. I don't trust that he'll go for less than 5.5-6 an over though.
