I think Pakistan first and foremost needs to build a proper bowling attack that is relatively healthy. They're averaging above 30 runs per wicket in the last 4 years, and close to 40 in the last 3 now. Sure, they've had some bad injury luck but even so, they don't have great new ball/old ball options or a decent spinner at the moment. The batting seems to be in a better place in comparison.
