As I've argued for a number of years, and definitely not because of the abilities of our heptathletes, being good at the field events is uncouth compared to being good at the track events.

Have you been reading bbc sport?
Nah, I kind of know that anyway, but the Olympics app gives the best times/distances for each. KJT about 3m down in the shot, but 2 seconds faster in the 200m.

I wouldn't rely on BBC sport for any kind of accurate info.

Of course this didn’t happen. KJT with a big PB in the shot, but not as quick as normal in the 200. She’s quicker at 800m, much worse at javelin, similar in long jump. Is 48 points enough of a lead? Could be an epic 800.

Astonishing 400m hurdles, Sydney is right up there with Duplantis.

Pakistan Gold, India Silver in the javelin. Good stuff.

Nadeem was absolutely insane, three of the top four throws. The others losers do this 50 yard run up and end up falling on their faces after their throws while this big unit just walks up and chucks it longer than any of them lmao.
