Like who?Well yeah, because in previous decades they made it easy for rookie batters to milk runs.

No team does that in India. They show up with mid spinners, but spinners nonetheless.I'm not getting into this argument, but if you have a rank turner and the other team shows up with seamers, it is a road. No?
Clarke.Like who?
That was an easy ton for you?Clarke.
Argument also used for Murali/Sanga to downgrade them both."All Indian pitches are dust bowls and rank turners, unless when Indian team is batting, then they are roads"
Yeah, and I found them equally stupid tbf.Argument also used for Murali/Sanga to downgrade them both.
On Murali, some Aussies I can bet on still believes he chucked; but they probably won't say so out loud for fear of getting cancelled......@Himannv will tell you Sanga is far stupider than Murali
Honestly I tried chucking once and my stats got worse. On Murali, some Aussies I can bet on still believes he chucked; but they probably won't say so out loud for fear of getting cancelled......
As someone who chucked their entire career, I can attest I was never given the ball in anything but a friendly.Honestly I tried chucking once and my stats got worse.
Yes? He still ended up averaging over 40 in India all things considered. Nowadays touring batters are lucky to average 30 in India. That was an easy ton for you?
Nobody argued that. The argument is that there were more of them than previous decades."All Indian pitches are dust bowls and rank turners, unless when Indian team is batting, then they are roads"
There were literally arguments for these pitches to be more helpful than ****ing uncovered once.Nobody argued that. The argument is that there were more of them than previous decades.
have you found any proof?Nobody argued that. The argument is that there were more of them than previous decades.
Prevalence of low averaging high wicket-taking foreign spinners in the 2010s.have you found any proof?
I mean, that also could be associated with the small fact that in the 2000s, India had a batting of Tendulkar-Dravid-Laxman-Sehwag-Ganguly.Prevalence of low averaging high wicket-taking foreign spinners in the 2010s.
Sure but you had many better quality spinners too. Many of the ones taking wickets past few years are well below worldclass spinner level or debutants but do better on sporting pitches.I mean, that also could be associated with the small fact that in the 2000s, India had a batting of Tendulkar-Dravid-Laxman-Sehwag-Ganguly.
there’s zero evidence to suggest they are by the numbers. A few random anecdotes don’t make a caseSure but you had many better quality spinners too. Many of the ones taking wickets past few years are well below worldclass spinner level or debutants but do better on sporting pitches.
You think pitches generally have been the same? Really?
again there’s no prevalence and a couple random anecdotes don’t build an argumentPrevalence of low averaging high wicket-taking foreign spinners in the 2010s.
There is. Tahir, Harmer, Lyon, O'Keefe, Murphy, Patel all had cheap sizable series hauls this past decade. You had debutant spin rookies like Kuhnemann and Hartley win games by themselves.again there’s no prevalence and a couple random anecdotes don’t build an argument
