*Official* West Indies Tour of England, JULY 9th to 25th, 2024-- 3 TEST MATCHES

mackembhoy

International Regular
Is it first point of contact for LBW?

Does the ball not then travel onto the back pad too?

The first contact I thought was gonna be umpires call but it hits back pad too?

Can't help but feel frustrated by this series tbh.

We've had real chances to get into winning positions in the last 2 tests and have just not been good enough. Not reviewing Root cost 84 runs, I just felt that was the sort of mistake sides that are short on confidence make. Though tbf Root, Stokes and Smith batted really well.

Shamar looks to be hitting his stride now, with one innings left (if he's lucky!). The preparation for this tour was laughable, having our best prospect carrying drinks in white ball cricket for months on end and then expecting him to jump off a plane and bowl England out 48 hours later.

Similarly, Kirk absolutely sucked for our whole 4 day competition, getting out in very similar ways to this series. How the hell did they expect him to cope with English conditions?!

We've been outgunned for sure, but we really have not helped ourselves at all.

The SA series at home will hopefully be more competitive as we've had a nice practice in England 😂.
