Nah this is worse than 1999 SF . You might have forgotten but Klusener was dropped in 49th over on the bowling of McGrath. And they were also nearly run out 1 ball before . Here they had 2 well set batsmen and needed 27 of 28 .

Everything considered, a T20 World Cup is just not important enough to overshadow 1999 SF imo, where a momentary lapse of judgment costed the the World Cup.

I think the whole "choking" narrative is overplayed given how a cricket event outcome can change just on some inches or even millimeters. That said, I think that last over in 1999 was definitely more an outcome of nerves than this final was.
