Would assume dropping Reeza isn't ideal when it comes to quota stuff also tbf.I don't disagree with that. But dropping an experienced game changing player would be a big call. But ultimately he is no more deserving of being dropped than any of the rest of the top 3. Except Markram is cpt and Reeza has the best form coming into the tournament. Rickelton didn't exactly inspire in the warm ups.
These wickets are dog breakfasts and these innings mostly tell us nothing about the players form.
I just don't see Rickelton solving any of the issues.
No it wouldn't. But in this case there is no point in dropping one of the most consistent players.Would assume dropping Reeza isn't ideal when it comes to quota stuff also tbf.
Just to confirm, after 17 overs, at 100-5 it was predicting 134.I love the Score Predictor at the NYC stadium, it seems to still be stuck on the IPL setting!!
I think they had to give it a go with six wickets at hand. They were going to get 120 either way so took a chance to stretch it to 135. Worth itMaybe they are batting like Pakistan yesterday, maybe they are not. But having faced so many deliveries, you only attempt to smack it when it's in your zone...or if you are Pant.
On a conventional wicket this would be the go-to...I think they had to give it a go with six wickets at hand. They were going to get 120 either way so took a chance to stretch it to 135. Worth it
