Match #21- Bangladesh vs South Africa (D)- Nassau County Cricket Stadium, New York- June 10th-- Group D

We cannot continue like this.. Ryan Rickelton has to come in next match vs Nepal , cannot justify failing so often as a top order ..We are pretty light on batting, there was no reason to pick Fortuin in the squad when we have Shamsi also on the bench .

Should have gone with an extra batter

Who are you dropping for Rickelton?

Would have opted for one more seamer here. Shoriful's injury not helping. Also I'd not drop Soumya here because of his ability to play a fluke innings. A quick 30-40 here somehow would have been helpful

I would drop QDK personally .
I don't disagree with that. But dropping an experienced game changing player would be a big call. But ultimately he is no more deserving of being dropped than any of the rest of the top 3. Except Markram is cpt and Reeza has the best form coming into the tournament. Rickelton didn't exactly inspire in the warm ups.

These wickets are dog breakfasts and these innings mostly tell us nothing about the players form.

I just don't see Rickelton solving any of the issues.

I doudt they drop anyone till after the Nepal game, may start to consider it if they fail on better pitches. They will put these starts down to the pitch mostly.
Ryan should probably be thankful he didn't play here, his current T20i stats aren't great as they are.

QDK is dangerous when he has a point to prove , I would take him out and play Rickleton for a couple of games just to build that fire in him ..
He's the only player in this squad who I think would respond positively to being left out for a few games
