I suspect you’ll see one of them but not both. My money would be Topley for Wood for this game.It will also mean that Aus could lose to Scotland (in their final game) and both those 2 would go through.
It seems that out and out pace is not the answer on these pitches, the England attack in the opening game was all wrong. Hope to see Topley and Curran for Wood and Jordan against Aus.
Mate I’m currently chowing down on an omelette while sitting on the balcony at an all inclusive resort in Cabo San Lucas. I wouldn’t have known the game was on if it wasn’t for Cozza’s insta updates from Barbados
NZ hasn't lost a wicket or conceded a run yet.Kudos to Jos and co, only team to not lose a wicket in the tournament thus far
I meant northern hemisphere teamsNZ hasn't lost a wicket or conceded a run yet.
No evidence NZ is a real place until they play a match in this tournament I'm afraid.NZ hasn't lost a wicket or conceded a run yet.

Aus did the same thing in the 1999 WC against the West Indies to prevent NZ (I think) from qualifyingI love how the Australia vs Scotland game is likely to determine England's fate. Australia don't even have to lose it, just win while not damaging Scotlands NRR so it remains above England's
Imagine, Scotland make 120 and Australia make 100 in 10 overs, then take 9 overs to score last 21 to win. This would piss England off for years
Yes, they did to try to carry over more points into the Super 6s but we beat Scotland by enough that it didn't matter.Aus did the same thing in the 1999 WC against the West Indies to prevent NZ (I think) from qualifying
It would probably lead to the re-structuring of all future ICC tournaments as well.I love how the Australia vs Scotland game is likely to determine England's fate. Australia don't even have to lose it, just win while not damaging Scotlands NRR so it remains above England's
