LOL Bob at 92 in the ring giving it loads after Taylor fight

Taylor is probably done now, he did not stop chattering about moving up but he stuck at this weight for the rematch when he was the draw, weight probably drained and years of partying has came back to haunt him.

Tis a shame because it was a superb run to undisputed. :(

Don't care about Caterall,,,feed him to some prospect.
Didn’t watch the fight but Catterrall was robbed in their first matchup so justice really

Taylor hasn’t looked good in his last 3 fights so only real chance of another payday is another Catterrall rematch

Jack won tonight, but not by as much as the judges had it tbf.

Taylor on reflection is in limbo, he's going to struggle to make 140 but he has nothing for the 147 division. The injuries, wars , inactivity, partying have taken a toll on him unfortunately.

Don't think their will be another fight unless Jack loses his next one, Taylor might retire as the money is made and he had a hell of a run .before decline set in.

Well he might be 57, but he's still Mike Tyson. He connects and it's red rover for Mr Paul.

Looks in pretty decent nick from his training clip:

Just when you think it's all over more fights come along very quickly - this weekend (June 1st) promises to be a belter in Saudi.

Deontay Wilder vs Zhilei Zhang (Main Event)

Daniel Dubois vs Filip Hrgovic
Hamzah Sheeraz vs Austin Williams
Dmitrii Bivol vs Malik Zinad
Raymond Ford vs Nick Ball
Willy Hutchinson vs Craig Richards

Thought that stoppage for Bivol over zinad was a bit early.

Think Zinad would beat most of the overrated UK lightheavyweights.

Did not get enough credit for it at the time but the Usyk win over Dubois has aged very well.

Hrgovic ain't the man sadly that was a beatdown.

Yeah for sure, it was pretty crap until it was over tbh.

Fun card but as always with Saudi dragged immensely.
Zhang is an interesting fighter - huge guy with good power & fundamentals but doesn’t throw enough

Mentioned before that I have no idea what Saudi gets out of putting on expensive fights in front of small crowds

The UAE is allegedly allowing gaming in the near future plus they have a massive tourism industry so them doing it would make sense

So I suppose it'll be Dubois v AJ at Wembley. Don't fancy Dubois lasting longer than 4 rounds in that fight. If he takes the kinda shots he took from Hrgovic v AJ then he's going to sleep. Still, fairplay to him, he completely monstered Hrgovic in rounds 3-7 and showed really good power and stamina. Definitely in the elite ranks now. Would love to see him fight Kabayel.

Wilder looks like he's barely in the top 50, let alone the top 10. Just from his body language and his tone of voice in the corner, it seemed like he had zero belief he was winning after round 1. Fingers crossed he never fights again. Easy work for Zhang in the end but he is never winning a big fight with that output.

His excellency loves boxing

Clearly they want Saudi to be the Mecca for entertainment so they are content to throw money at everything and hope it works.

Ignoring the sport washing angle and how drab the crowds are,,,,at least they are making fights.

Zhang v Kabayal is an interesting fight , for Dubois he v Joshua is the obvious one although yeah AJ probably knocks him out.

Nothing for Wilder now bar maybe some silliness with Ngannou.

Hrgovic has sat on his hands for 2 years waiting for a title shot and it showed
Yup. Steel sharpens steel. Making fights eith the likes of Kash Ali is not going to bode well for fighting someone real.

Partially not his fault as he was certainly avoided...but also once he had that interim title he could have made some proper fights.

OTOH Joyce's reward for taking tough fights was getting flatlined by Zhang.

I guess the takeaway is that we should be more tolerant of fighters taking losses.

Dubois, Parker, Zhang, AJ have all shown that losses don't define you as a fighter.

Would prefer:

Zhang vs AJ
Kabayel vs either Dubois or Parker.

Would make for more interesting style match ups IMO.

Virtually everyone apart from Ruiz has been fighting for big money & he took on De Mori, who is the king of the nobodies

Now miles down the pecking order

Just crazy

Bad management but also gotta blame the fighter himself. Has looked totally uninterested. But also totally naive. Still fighting like it's the amateurs, has no idea what to do in the clinch.

We saw Usyk planning for Fury's clinch game to the point where he was actually outwrestling him.

Whereas Hrgovic let the smaller man totally push him around the ring.
