Cricketer Of The Year
Dude, I literally pointed to a minor, almost meaningless court proceeding documented over 400 years ago..... There is no need tx forge that. Also, the Earth being round was also believed by the Ancient Greeks; Erathosthenes also measured the Earth's curvature in 240 BC with great precision for the time. The later believe of flat Earth wasn't British exclusive but was believed across Europe, forced by the Church. They certainly took credit for many things they stole from others, but there are no proof of cricket being one of them and exceeding proof that it was originated by the Saxons or Normans.Historical documents written by British Anthropologists before 1950s a lot of them are proven wrong. Just because you see an information in Internet it won't become absolute truth. For Example : Earth is Round is what most Asians used to believe for Centuries. But many European and Middle East Kingdoms used to believe Earth is Flat. These People when they started trading with Asian Countries got the idea that Earth can be round.
You have to understand that People in Power will manipulate many things for making the masses believe that they are Stronger and Smarter. I don't hate British but what i am saying is its human nature around the World.
Another example from when cricket became much more mainstream, is John Small. He played in the 1760s, and was one of the pioneers of the modern bat.
