yeah that’s clearly why Kuldeep played every test going forward since thenJust a reminder of that time when Kuldeep took five wickets in Australia, Shastri instantly declared him India's best overseas spinner.so they never really rated this guy.
Now, Kuldeep Yadav will be our No.1 overseas spinner: Coach Ravi Shastri
Ravi hastri made it clear that going forward, wrist spinners will be in vogue in Test cricket and Kuldeep is "already" ahead of Ashwin and Jadeja as country's No.1 spinner.indianexpress.com
Ashwin's comments: 'In that moment, though, I felt crushed. Absolutely crushed. We all talk about how important it is to enjoy your team-mates' success. And I was happy for Kuldeep. I have not been able to get a five-for but he has a five-for in Australia. I know how big it is. Even when I have bowled well [at other times], I haven't ended up with a five-for.'
Point is Ashwin was thrown under the bus because he wasn't seen as a dangerous threat away.yeah that’s clearly why Kuldeep played every test going forward since then
nah the only point is you missing context around how idiotic the team management and selection for India was back thenPoint is Ashwin was thrown under the bus because he wasn't seen as a dangerous threat away.
To Ashwin it's personal. No clue why it's also personal for you smh.Just a reminder of that time when Kuldeep took five wickets in Australia, Shastri instantly declared him India's best overseas spinner. So they never really rated this guy Ashwin.

Ashwin's comments show how much he values a fifer away which you guys discredit: 'In that moment, though, I felt crushed. Absolutely crushed. That test. Also second test SA 2018 on a sporting pitch in the 3rd innings.next we’ll see the Southampton test brought up as an eg of Ashwin failing to perform away when Moeen Ali won the test for England if we keep going in reverse chronological order
and im sure its been pointed out to you that Ashwin was injured and still was being bowled and im sure you’ll forget this again and bring it up the next time like you always doThat test. Also second test SA 2018 on a sporting pitch in the 3rd innings.
Maybe they knew something about Ashwin we don't otherwise I would have preferred Ashwin to Jadeja in England.nah the only point is you missing context around how idiotic the team management and selection for India was back then
yeah they knew Jadeja was a better batsman for no 7Maybe they knew something about Ashwin we don't otherwise I would have preferred Ashwin to Jadeja in England.
I think I read somewhere Ashwin himself felt he underperformed in that test. But anyways, still waiting for him to run through a side in SENA.and im sure its been pointed out to you that Ashwin was injured and still was being bowled and im sure you’ll forget this again and bring it up the next time like you always do
he did underperform in that test by overexperimenting with variations but no idea if that also had something to do with injuryI think I read somewhere Ashwin himself felt he underperformed in that test. But anyways, still waiting for him to run through a side in SENA.
Jadeja wasn't going to win you a game in England though with the ball.yeah they knew Jadeja was a better batsman for no 7
like half of this thread’s queries and arguments can be shutdown with the answer like always being Jadeja
