I didn't say he was perfect vs spin? His struggles vs spin wasn't him literally averaging 3 in a series like ponting.

This is the problem with you guys. Ponting gets defined by his weakest performances and Dravid gets defined by his most epic ones.

It's not my fault that you are simply a low iq simpleton. I'm literally comparing their troughs.
Dravid had a few struggles in some series vs spin. Ponting's struggles were lower the bottom of the Marianas trench.

Yes but Ponting got the best of Murali whereas Dravid struggled. Ponting's spin woes are India specific.

Dravid also owned murali every time in India (where the ball still turns, by the way) and also creamed him all over the ground in the kandy 2001 fourth innings runchase. I don't think there's any evidence that ponting somehow played murali like a master and Dravid was much worse.
Ponting has a lot of things to put him over dravid (better stroke player, better against high quality pace, etc) . Saying he's better against spin should be responded with nothing but laughter imo.

Mostly out to Vaas. Murali didn't get him out once in that series. Ponting himself said he didnt struggle against Murali because he found it easier to negotiate his delivery coming in, rather than these sort of floaters that Harbi had.

Ponting in SL in 99 and in Australia in 2007, all fairly comfortable again Murali.

I know it might be hard for you to keep up, but I already admitted Ponting isn't strong against spin. But he wasn't as dire as being made out to be to make Dravid seem better, hence I brought his runs against Murali.
