Have you even ever held a bat and felt wood in your hands?I reckon that’s getting most batsman on the first day tbh
I don’t think this is so tbhYeah, it's an educated guess at best even in the plumbest calls. Umps have to figure various experiential variables into making a decision; it's not as cut n dry as DRS makes it seem.
Not even watching, was just commenting on the whole benefit of doubt thingThat's just being pedantic. While I don't agree with ***** when he's on his umpire fellating sprees, he's right that there was enough doubt here. As there is on many marginal lbws umpires are slated for these days. DRS has warped viewer's minds into thinking this **** is clear in real time .
Tom Hartley will have a field day and you will apologiseIf England had a better spin attack, this score could be competitive. Not good, but competitive
If it doesn't fit, you must acquit. So if there is room for doubt, it's not out.
Think his moment was that first test,as the poster above says we haven't the quality spin attackTom Hartley will have a field day and you will apologise
He bowled well in the second too. Hiding to nothing last time out. Can’t see why he wouldn’t go well on this deckThink his moment was that first test,as the poster above says we haven't the quality spin attack
Stokes and/or Robinson to bowl offies.Rehan leaves Tour for personal reasons and won’t be replaced. No idea what happens if Hartley/Bashir get injured….could be all seam attack for 5th Test!
the last time Stokes bowled offies at a batsman from the subcontinent they had a 200Stokes and/or Robinson to bowl offies.
Both surprisingly not terrible at it from what I've seen.
Was it the voided Ashes where Robinson was so unfit he start bowling offspin dross?Stokes and/or Robinson to bowl offies.
Both surprisingly not terrible at it from what I've seen.
Ollie's probably taken more FC wickets with his offies than Bashir hasStokes and/or Robinson to bowl offies.
