Haven't seen or heard a lot about Weibgen, looking forward to seeing some highlights of this.

Really like the look of Vidler's outswinger. Gets it full, fast and can swing it late from a very straight line rather than having to hang it miles outside off like many outswing bowlers do.

It was just a decent solid knock. Took his time early and waited for the bad balls (which it seems you're never too far away from in U19 Cricket). Accelerated at the end.

Yeah, was a good ball for the lbw. Should've been out ball before too, shocking drop at slip.

I blame the keeper for that for sure; if you're going to go like that then you have to actually commit to going for the catch.

I can only assume McKinney was trying to do something about the NRR, strange innings.
Think he was just playing see ball hit ball tbh.

I don't know how fast he's bowling but there's no way Vidler is "medium pace", he's hurried every batsman so far and his two wickets both had an element of beating the batsman for pace. He looks quite a bit sharper than Anderson.

This whole England innings so far has largely smacked of NRR frustrations (caused by the daft format). Looks like they might try some more sensible stuff now.

Vidler has certainly bowled some wicket taking deliveries, but he's been gifted a couple too.

And another gift there.

Sheesh, England losing here is a good thing for our boys. Aye
Nah it's not. Given what SA did to Zimbabwe earlier, it makes the NRR almost impossible for WI to overturn on the other 2. They'll need to beat Aus and hope SL can beat SA to have any hope.

Given they've now gone off for lightening in the area, a No Result is actually the best option for WI (avoiding defeat doesn't really help England).

Still have hope for this. Come on SL!

I'm hoping that they call off this game. Doesn't help England at all but will make the Aus v WI game effectively a QF knockout.

I'm not sure how a chase of 215 in 24 overs quite equates to Australia's 266. Even harder given England are now batting in a mixture of cloud and floodlights.

There's some weird things going on in this tournament. I wonder if the Super 6 format was caused by the moving from Sri Lanka at short notice.

You lost 4 wickets inside the first 10 overs, the score is fair.

Well that all ended pretty quickly. England not remotely good enough even if they weren't helped by the daft format.

That result pretty much screws up the WI too. India v SA and Aus v Pak look the likely semis.

We have to beat Australia and SL has to beat SA for us to progress as far as I can see. No way we can take over SA on net run rate due to the absurdity of the format.
