With a new ball due soon Pakistan could take another 2 or 3 wickets before stumps which would get them right back into the game.Actually a fairly decent day from Pakistan at least in terms of wickets. Still well behind in the game but at least they haven’t lost after Day 1.
If it didn't move at all I reckon Carey would have inside edged it. Played down the wrong line anyway and then it moved even further.78 over-old ball still nipping around. Hope this pitch doesn't settle down too much tomorrow
GS Kohli multi spottedAustralia is very tough team and Pakistan is also a good team so it will be a great series.
I'm following all leagues and series.

Yeah this is a thing which is talked about remarkably little. Especially when with the advent of 80-over days, the team that bats first frequently faces effectively the same conditions at the start of day 2 as at the start of day 1.While obviously not the same as doing it against a fresh attack, Marsh here against the new rock could be a little insight into how he would go opening in Test cricket
It's weird, Warner's a pretty awful player outside of Australia generally, but that and his first tour of South Africa he was fantastic. Interesting that he hasn't been able to replicate it otherwise.
Funny thing is, those two Bangladesh hundreds were actually really good knocks on turning tracks.
Well if there is any other country where wickets can offer the same pace and bounce as Australia, its South AfricaIt's weird, Warner's a pretty awful player outside of Australia generally, but that and his first tour of South Africa he was fantastic. It's certainly ended much closer than it looked like being after the first session. part of it is I don't think Australia batted that well aside from Warner. This lineup's slowly on its way out and it's frustratingly rare for there to be more than one significant contribution an innings - no one else has passed fifty here.Hey we're still better than the West Indies. Shame about the dropped catches but this is merely awful now
says more about the guy than any other stat.
