By the time India came to bat it was a dead rubber. There was no pressure. There was more pressure in 2011 final chase than in 2003.come on can't just disqualify the 2003 final like that lol

Kohli played most number of matches.Dude. It’s 2008, and he played like 4 games that year.
Sachin 25Nope Sachin had 24, and Lara 14. Kohli’s far ahead of his peers in terms of centuries too btw
I was comparing their stats in the year Sachin turned 26. Seemed more sensibleSachin 25
Lara 9 ( when he was 26 yrs old )
Hundred conversion rate is not better than Sachin's. After era adjustment. For me, it is, along with the feat of dominating a WC, which he has done until now. It’s rare for non-openers to be close to the very top of the run scorers in WCs. Kohli’s superiority is not evidenced by his SR so much, but his hundred conversion rate and his chasing legacy, areas in which he is far far ahead of Sachin.
Highly subjectiveHundred conversion rate is not better than Sachin's. After era adjustment.
Kohli's Chasing legacy is too over rated, Abdv had far better chasing stats when they played together. Sachin was their best chaser for his era. Kohli's stats got help from the ultra easy batting conditions.. Check Abdv's chasing stats during the same period.. Its unreal.
I was not comparing Lara to Sachin, Lara was the 2nd best and difference was HUGE.Btw Lara had played about 45% of the number of matches Tendulkar had, when he turned 26
On the chasing part, you can't directly compare AB and Kohli. AB bats below 3, and Kohli sets up chases from the top of the order. Kohli has more centuries in chases, than AB has in his entire career.Hundred conversion rate is not better than Sachin's. After era adjustment.

So is between Kohli and his contemporaries, apart from AB, who we can agree was far better than of SRT's contemporariesI was not comparing Lara to Sachin, Lara was the 2nd best and difference was HUGE.
Kohli's avg and century ratio is in the same league of Sachin after era adjustment. And Sachin's SR is far better than Kohli's.I'm not the biggest Kohli fan but anyone who wants to spin the stats to say that the greatest ODI bat isn't the guy who will soon have 50 tons, averages 58, and doesn't have a weak average against a single nation, is just doing exactly that. Spinning.
Didn't knew you were a @trundler alt.Babar is the goat
Not for meKohli's avg and century ratio is in the same league of Sachin after era adjustment. And Sachin's SR is far better than Kohli's.

Sachin did it for longer, he carried a weak team on his shoulders and his WC performances were spectacular
this isn’t an opinion, it’s mathematical. Kohli’s century rate adjusted for era is equivalent to Sachins and his strike rate worse. Not for me
Sure the fact of there being era adjustments is objective, but how you apply it is subjective. That Sachin’s era adjusted SR is clearly better than Kohli sure. But I won’t say his era adjusted century conversion rate is better or equal to Kohli. There’s a massive gap therethis isn’t an opinion, it’s mathematical. Kohli’s century rate adjusted for era is equivalent to Sachins and his strike rate worse.
Now when you’re dealing with comparing players at this level, it’s subjective. But what’s not subjective is the era adjustments you apply
