***Official***Match #35 - New Zealand vs Pakistan - November 4th - Bengaluru

This ground is equipped with subsurface aeration and vacuum-powered drainage facilities. It takes barely a few minutes to remove rainwater with the help of a remotely controlled system. Thus, we won't have prolonged stoppage and it looks like a passing shower

What's the DLS score?
don't know but further evidence worthless duck method is not great

402 needed off 50 overs = 8.04 rpo
242 needed off 28.3 overs = 8.49 rpo

basically making it far nearer a T20 chase than a 50 over chase, no wickets reduced to compensate, and the RRR only increased by less than half a run. stands out as being clearest stupid calculation by any method since the last tournament with a round robin group stage and the "rain rule"

it's effectively suggesting a starting point for Pakistan of 160/0 off 21.3 overs which is 7.44 rpo without losing any wickets! counters any lost powerplay overs, I think chasing 350+ most sides would take 160/0 even at the loss of a few powerplay overs

EDIT : ironically of course they've reached 160/1 off 21.3 overs, but that is down to how Fakhar has played, not what is supposed to represent average in such conditions
