Wood expensive again. Oh well.
Yeah get Scotland in there.aus not WC worthy
there's a reason he's in and out of the 50+ overs formats, in theory could be better batting and only a little weaker than Woods, and of course being left-arm helps his cause, but if he were an obvious pick he'd be in there if only because of his leftiness which England go for left out over left arm in his caseHave you seen him bowl recently? Struggling to get the ball on the pitch consistently.
They could put their feet up from here and still make it.@Burgey is getting worried that Australia aren't going to make the Semi finals
Yeah, ODIs are Wood's weakest format by far. With hindsight lucky that his best ODI bowling came in the home WC.long held misgiving that he is good, which in Tests he is (well under 30 average anyway) and T20is, and of course the belief he is the quickest bowler with deadliest bounce/short ball even though he is heading if not reached 40 average
I thought it was as wellI was very surprised that was three reds.
Looked like it was missing comfortably.
I am wondering if tic tac Butthead shouldn't just give his bowlers 2 overs then change, 2 overs then change, as his one "winning formula" seems to be bowl somebody and when you bring them back they get a wicket out of nowhere, albeit little too little, little too late probably3 wides in one over? Really?
EDIT
No wonder Labuschagne was shocked to get a straight one.
Sam C is a T20 pick only. The longer the format, the further away from selection he should be.there's a reason he's in and out of the 50+ overs formats, in theory could be better batting and only a little weaker than Woods, and of course being left-arm helps his cause, but if he were an obvious pick he'd be in there if only because of his leftiness which England go for left out over left arm in his case
(ODI career, 22 average with bat, handy and handy SR, 30 wkts @ 39.00, ER 6.09, no shock he's not in, bowling average away is 49.69 and ER 6.41, yet another silly selection)
